Toba Tek Singh.(www.apnapirmahal.com)13-02-2015:District and Sessions Judge/Human Rights Commission Chairman Muhammad Yar Walana on Thursday summoned computerised land record district in-charge Muhammad Imran and land record computer operator Muhammad Usman for February 17 in a case.In a petition, Shafiq of Chak 323/JB said that he had applied for a copy of his farmland record. He alleged that the two officials accommodated others and refused to issue him a copy, saying that time had ended. He further alleged that they threatened him of dire consequences when he objected to their attitude.

Toba Tek Singh.(www.apnapirmahal.com)13-02-2015:Dozens of transporters on Wednesday staged a demonstration by parking their vehicles on Rajana Road against decreased fares of buses and wagons by the government.The protesters led by an owner of a transport company and ex-MNA Amjad Warraich also observed a strike of coaches running between Gojra to Toba for two hours. They also met ADC Rana Zeeshan Shabbir and apprised him that there was difference of fares for same distances in Faisalabad district. The ADC said that fares had been decreased on the government’s direction. The ADC assured them that he would verify the fares of Faisalabad district.

When contacted, the AC denied the allegations and said that no such incident was took place.

Later, the accused allegedly axed Noreen to death. Police have registered a case.

Toba Tek Singh.(www.apnapirmahal.com)13-02-2015:PML-N MNA Chaudhry Asadur Rehman Tuesday accused former governor Chaudhry Sarwar of misusing his charity organisation.Talking to reporters by telephone, the MNA said former governor himself was a land grabber, saying that he acquired 104 kanals of land from the government to construct his organisation’s school in Pirmahal but used only 13 kanal and 3 marlas for the purpose and became the owner of extra land.He maintained in December 2014 as a governor Sarwar again got allotted 26 kanals more land to establish a library for his school against nominal price of Rs 3,000 per acre.He said Sarwar also encroached 8 marlas 127 sq ft extra land adjacent to his school in Pirmahal.He added his international charity organisation had the manifesto to run schools on no profit no loss basis but exorbitant fees are being collected from students in his school.
