Toba Tek Singh.(www.apnapirmahal.com)26-02-2015: A short video clip of a folksinger from Kamalia went viral and gained so much popularity that more than 260,000 people viewed and thousands shared it in just seven days on Facebook.It was actually uploaded by a local youth who recorded the clip with his mobile phone camera when he noticed the singer on a street while singing Baba Bulleh Shah’s couplet ‘Allah Hoo’.This man is Sain Mukhtiar, 65, - resident of Mohalla Baghai Wala - who is earning his living as a street singer for the last 50 year.He told reporters on Tuesday night that he had learned singing from Sain Sattar, who was also from his tribe. The street singing as a profession was on the verge of extinction as it was no more a viable economically, he added. However, he said, his son Nadeem - the youngest of the five - was learning from him.Mukhtiar said he was fond of singing Sufi poetry of Hazrat Mian Muhammad Bakhsh and Bulleh Shah, and well-appreciated by people. He rued the fact that he could not promote himself to the big stage because of zero patronage. |

As a result, Mumtaz Bibi was killed on the spot. Police have registered a case. |

He said that 15 people, including Gul Akbar, Shahzad Sarwar and Muhammad Irfan, of Toba City allegedly tortured his maid in a bid to occupy the land. |
