Toba Tek Singh.(www.apnapirmahal.com)21-01-2015:.Former provincial education minister Riaz Fatyana and his wife Ashfa Riaz Fatyana have announced joining the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf.Addressing a press conference on Monday, Riaz Fatyana said that they had joined the PTI unconditionally, while their son Ihsan Riaz Fatyana, an independent MPA from Faisalabad PP-58 (Mamoonkanjun), had so far not made a decision to join the PTI. Riaz Fatyana had secured 66,980 votes as an independent candidate from NA-94 in the 2013 general elections, while his wife Ashfa Riaz Fatyana had secured 30,346 votes as an independent candidate from PP-88. The PTI failed to field a candidate from NA-94 in the elections. However, the PTI had given the ticket to late Rai Qasim Ali Khan who could get only 2766 votes. Pundits opine that now the PTI has strong candidates from NA-94 and PP-88 for the next general elections.

He said that Gulzar, father of Naureen, had asked Athar to marry his sister to Naureen’s brother, but he refused to do so. He said that to take revenge, Gulzar and his relatives Rashid and Shahbaz called Athar to Gojra through Naureen and kidnapped him where they strangled him and buried the body in a forest. He said that they had arrested Gulzar and Rashid, but Shahbaz fled abroad. He said that the sessions court had awarded 40-year imprisonment each to Gulzar and Rashid in 2006 and declared Shahbaz a proclaimed offender. He said that Shahbaz had been arrested on his return to the country.

Abdul Waheed died of heart attack when his wife was not present in her home as she had gone to see her relatives to some other locality. When she returned home and saw the body of her husband, she also received heart attack and died on the spot. Later, both husband and wife were buried at a local graveyard

Petrol was selling at Rs 200 per litre at some places.The commuters are upset because of non-availability of public transport for them.
